Welcome to our world; Welcome to The South High Film Society

The Film Society is an afterschool program created in 2009 as a way for students at South High School to learn the basics about moviemaking while taking a hands-on approach to the craft. The group is comprised of rookies and seasoned pros. They all contribute to the cause by writing, starring and directing in short films, morning announcements and filming many of South High extracurricular activities.

"We want the people who visit this site to take notice of some of the attributes the students of South High showcase. Whether it be the student generated score, the wonderful acting or the interesting story-telling, the wealth of talent is an untapped resource finally making is way out into the world."
